Phenergan is an antihistamine used to treat a number of conditions: allergies - allergic contact dermatitis, hives, hayfever, bites and stings respiratory symptoms due to allergies - runny nose nausea and vomiting - motion sickness assists in the management of the symptoms of chicken pox and measles by acting as a sedative for short-term use for sedation on the advice of a pharmacist or doctor.
| Warnings | -This medication may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive a vehicle or operate a machinery. -Avoid alcohol. -Do not give to children under 2 years of age. -Do not give to children aged between 2 and 12 years of age, except on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist, or nurse practitioner. -Avoid during pregnancy or lactation. -This product contains benzoates and sulfites. Also contains sorbitol and maltitol, 1.33g and 14.12g respectively, per maximum recommended daily dose. -Products containing maltitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhea. -Do not use if cap seal is broken. -After closing, check the child-resistant cap mechanism is engaged – this is confirmed if cap clicks when turned anti-clockwise. |
